Everything you need to know about your life is written in the stars. Like, seriously. Keep reading to find out what book I'm talking about today.
Hi, it's Kyla Denanyoh, and today we're talking about stars, horoscopes, and all the other things. Today, we're discussing the book "Who the Stars Say You Are." The author of this book is Syd Robinson. The book's genre is nonfiction. The theme of the book is new age.
So I've always read my horoscope. I'm a bit of a contrarian, so I always read it the day after, so that I'm not influenced by what the horoscope says. If you wake up in the morning and read it, it's like you're going to meet the love of your life, you're going to get a new job, and all these opportunities will be presented to you. Then, you're going to be out looking for them. I'm such a Taurus that I'm bullheaded, so I read it the day after to avoid being influenced, but I do read it.
Horoscopes are fascinating, right down to the fact that the day, month, and year of my birth, according to the Chinese calendar, are all significant. I have read them all.
That's why I like this book: for one, it's funny to read, it's short, and there are all these little charts and diagrams throughout. I burned through it in a day because there are all these little graphs and like little things like, oh is this me is this you right so I read it for myself, I read it for my husband I read it with my daughter in mind for her sign I also read it with my mom in line which is funny. After all, this is not her; she makes all her decisions, and nothing influences her. However, there were many similarities between the sign and my mom. I read it for my boss and my favorite coworker. Who do the stars say they are? That's what I wanted to know.
What's your favorite kind of ice cream? I would never admit this to anyone else, but I have a secret affection for marshmallows and ice cream. Especially the mini ones; they get a cold, chewy, funky texture. Well, the stars, like an ice cream Rocky Road, are a Taurus. I loved it; I loved reading it, and it was really cute. So, if you're looking for something to flip through, an astrological guide about yourself, your neighbor, your coworker, or the guy you're dating, pick this book up. It's fun to look at.
This is one that I'll need to buy so that I can keep referencing it. It was fun to read on a whim, but you'll always want to refer back to it. When you're getting a new job, looking for something else, or trying to change apartments, do you need a south-facing window or a front-facing window? Does it matter?
Would I reread this book 100% right in fact I need to buy a copy because you're going to reference this book again, even if you need a quick laugh your sign as a dog in the park hilarious even if you just want a quick laugh you're gonna want to pick this book up again and take a look at it.
Alright, so yeah, I would reread it. It's hilarious, and whether you consider yourself someone who's into the woo-woo stuff or you're someone who dabbles, like you enjoy yoga, it's a great fit. You might enjoy meditation, which is often seen as woo-woo, or whether you're someone who's like, 'No, I am completely rational and logical; I get that.' I'm a lawyer who is also a Taurus, known for being stubborn, bullheaded, and a contrarian. However, I was still entertained by the book.
So, consider picking this up and giving it a read. Hilarious, right? It's not even a read. It's a series of quizzes. All right. So, when my star sign is not influencing me, I like to make five-second decisions to get my life in order.
Until the next book review, Kyla
