Million Dollar Habits book review
To become a millionaire, you must do three things: just three, one, two, three. That's it. That's it. All right. Keep reaching and find out what book I'm talking about today. Hey, it's Kyla Denanyoh. Today, we are talking about becoming a millionaire, the habits you need to do, and how to get there.Â
So today, we're talking all about the book Million Dollar Habits. The author of the book is Brian Tracy. The genre of the book is nonfiction. The theme of the book is motivation for business. All right. So three habits that you have to pick up to become a millionaire. So point number three: Be loyal. There are several things that Brian Tracy writes about in the book, but he repeatedly talks about loyalty.Â
Be loyal to your family in terms of saving money, don't cheat on people, and don't tell too many lies.Â
Be loyal to your kids. He talks about how he will always go to bat for his children.Â
Be loyal to your employer, including working harder than everybody else.Â
There are a number of chapters where Brian Tracy talks about how if you work for this company, you need to wear what they have. If you work for this kind of car company, you need to drive the car and show loyalty in all aspects. But he gives several examples about how millionaires are loyal, and that loyalty comes back to you in huge, huge dividends on the other end, right? Including making you a millionaire. So, being loyal is huge. Loyalty is also included, which is being loyal to yourself, which means spending time with yourself just thinking, meditating, and reflecting on your day.Â
So, the second really big habit I learned from Million Dollar Habits is that you must be intentional. So, piggybacking off of what I just said was about being loyal to yourself and spending time with yourself. Brian Tracy talks about caring for yourself, brushing your teeth, and combing your hair. having your nails groomed, and having clean shoes. He goes through this whole thing about how to be a millionaire, you need to take care of yourself. You need to look like a million bucks. You need to give the impression of being a million bucks. He doesn't talk about getting into debt and all this stuff so that you're keeping up with the Joneses, but you need to look a certain way. So, to become a millionaire, one of the habits you need to have, according to Brian Tracy, is to be very intentional with your life and take care of yourself.
Okay, so before we get into the all-time number one lesson that I learned from this book, I want to say that if you're enjoying yourself, consider subscribing to my YouTube channel. I talk about books every single week: nonfiction books like this book, fiction books, mysteries, romances, and all the good stuff. All right, so consider subscribing. Now, let's jump into the biggest lesson I learned. And that lesson is to imitate others? Brian Tracy says, if you know a millionaire, look at what they are doing, imitate that. If you don't know a millionaire, follow them and then figure out what they're doing, right? I'm a podcaster. I'm going to look at the top 10 podcasts in my niche and my subject, and then I'm going to look at the top 10 podcasts all over, and I'm going to imitate what they're doing.Â
Where does the music build? What are their outros? How are the ads introduced? What do the episode notes look like? Imitate, imitate, imitate. That is one of the biggest lessons I learned about becoming a millionaire. Many stories about Warren Buffett include having one hamburger daily and not investing in risky stocks and crypto. If you want to be a millionaire, I would say you should do that. Now, some other millionaires do the exact opposite. But look at the top 10% and see what they're doing?Â
And, of course, every life is different. But if you can look at a few habits these millionaires have, anything you can emulate will help you. What will it hurt me to look at the top 10 podcasts, listen to them, and see if I'm doing the same thing? I loved it, and this is a book that I would reread. Nonfiction books are a lot easier to reread because of the lessons I picked up, the stories I got, and the revelations that happened while I was reading the book. I want to see if those will happen again. I want to see if I'll catch on to something else in the future.Â
And so that's a particular perspective? But if you wanna know why we should all be millionaires, take a look at this book review here, which is all about what you need to do to become a millionaire and even more tips you can follow to ensure you become a millionaire.Â
Until the next book review, Kyla
